Iran to rename currency

augustus 14, 2019

Iran is planning to rename its currency to toman after the Iranian government has approved a plan to remove four zeroes from the rial and rename the currency. Toman is a former superunit of the currency that was in use until 1925. Iranians continued using the term for its simple conversion rate of 1 toman = 10 rial. The new toman will be 1 to 100.
